Known limitations
There are some things Groundable can't do yet or that work differently from what you might expect. This page documents them honestly.
YouTube transcript availability
Not every YouTube video has a usable transcript. Videos without auto-generated captions, age-restricted videos, or videos from certain regions may not have transcripts available. Use the manual transcript option as a fallback.
Web Evidence is context, not fact-check
Web Evidence Check finds external sources that may support or question claims in your pack. It provides helpful context, but is not a guaranteed fact-check. Always verify critical claims independently.
AI outputs should be reviewed
Groundable uses AI to structure and summarise source material. Outputs may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Review all generated content before using it in a professional or business context.
Large source sets may take longer
Knowledge Packs with many sources or very long transcripts may take significantly longer to generate. Very large sets may occasionally time out. Try reducing your source count if generation is slow.
Groundable Chat answers only from selected Knowledge Pack content
Groundable Chat is grounded in the content of your selected Knowledge Pack only. It does not browse the internet or access content outside the Knowledge Pack. Responses are only as good as the underlying sources.
DOCX and PDF exports require Starter
Free Preview includes one TXT export a month. DOCX and PDF exports are available on Starter and Professional. All plans can preview Knowledge Packs in-app.
Billing
Stripe billing is live. If you experience any issues with payments or plan upgrades, contact support immediately and we will resolve it manually.
Features may change
Groundable is in active development. Features, limits, pricing, and workflows may change. We will communicate significant changes to users.
